Language of Keywords: English; Romanian Abstract: The prevalence of hepatocellular carcinoma, the most common type of cancer with hepatic origin, has increased and it has a low survival rate. This epidemic is caused by ciuperci sotate viral infections and by the cancer hepatic treatment incidence of non-alcoholic liver cirrhosis. Because the curative options are limited, disease progression creates, both in patients and their families, uncertainty about disease prognosis and treatment options.
Most cases are diagnosed at an end stage of the disease, when the tumor cancer hepatic treatment unresectable, patients experiencing severe recurrent symptoms, such as pain, asthenia and anorexia that affect both their quality of life and functional status.
Această epidemie este cauzată de infecţiile virale cronice şi de incidenţa crescută a cirozelor hepatice non-alcoolice. Deoarece opţiunile curative sunt limitate, evoluţia bolii creează atât în rândul pacienţilor cât şi în cadrul familiilor acestora, incertitudine cu privire la prognosticul bolii şi la opţiunile de tratament.
